USS Tripoli from James Stroman, "G" 2/7 Marine on September 30, 2015 at 16:26:21

Email: James Stroman, "G" 2/7 Marine

11 Jul 68 A friendly fire incident led to several deaths and many wounded. I am looking for the surgeon that worked on me that night. I had multiple shrapnel wounds to both legs and abdomen. My heart reportedly stopped during surgery according to a recovery room nurse. My right upper leg was hamburger and I had muscle transplanted from the rear of the leg to the front. This, without the technology we have today. I hope to find this Doctor to thank him for my surgery. I owe my life to my God and the Navy Corpsmen and doctors that worked on me that night Thank you !!
