I served aboard the U. S. S. Iwo Jima, LPH-2 from 1962 until 1967. I was discharged Honorably as a 2nd Class Damage Control Petty Officer. I served through all the ships deployments during those years, including the operations in Viet Nam and at the site of the Frank Knoxx. My name is not listed on the ships Roster. I served through three overseas deployments, some of those in Viet Nam and was awarded a good conduct medal. Sincerely Vernon Rollin
