Hi My Name is David Agosto and I served on the Iwo Jima LPH-2 from Feb 1983 through Jan 1987. I wanted to know what awards the ship received during this time as I am putting together a part of my office at home to the Iwo Jima and I have been doing some research. I was in Beiruit on that Sunday morning of Oct 23, 1983 when the marine barracks were bombed. I would appreciate any info on the awards earned throughout that time from Feb 1983 and Jan 1987. I’d also like to know where I can get a MARG2-83 patch.
